Apr 12: Progress is made.
It truly is. We have come so far largely due to the work party our Bishop put together with our LDS church. The Priesthood turned out in spades and worked tuirelessly tearing out the bad floor in omne rom and hauling the debri to the burn pile.
The young men and women took a huge yard full of beer cans trash and various other debris and turned it into a really attractive lawn. Other young women worked indoors. You Sister Lee worked diligently cleaning all of the spindles and banister. Others worked on wiping down walls and cleaning the restroom. The Relief Society sisters came and worked in an unbeleivable fashion cleaning and scrubing in the kitchen and dining room.
Yesterday my mom brought the carpet cleaner out and cleaned the hall way carpet. Holy Cow! it was actually white with beige diamonds. I didnt even know it had a patern. Mary and I now have a bed and furniture in our bedroom. The girls rooms are still coming together though. we need a twin mattress and a nice full size mattress. No bunkbed still mattress for the full size. we need something a bit more "plush" (not sure if thats the word but the solid steel boxpring on our antique bed requires a heafteier mattress for comfort of any kind.
So I tank ALL of my Church family and my immediate family and those great friends dating back to high school who made the plumbing repairs happen. (Thanks Paul).
